This was a nice walk. It’s fairly rocky, but it is also fairly shaded, which keeps it cool. It is a touch over a mile, so it is a hike you can do early in the am, walk slow to try to catch the critters, and still be out before it gets too hot. I am willing to bet the place would be loaded with all sorts of bugs, birds, and lizards. However, wife and I went during the summer of 23, which was very hot and dry. Not too many bugs were found, but quite a few lizards that were willing to pose on a rock were.
