This is a longer walk, its not an early morning 2 mile adventure, so keep that in mind. The loop itself is listed as 3 miles, however when wife and I went parts were close, so it was 3 miles in and 3 miles out. We clocked closer to 6 miles total.

The trail leading up to the loop is an interesting one. There are lots of trails and off shoots, some of which lead to dead ends, others have odd remnants of what I am hoping were date nights. Some finds are a touch creepy, others make for nice photos.

The grotto is still in place, but it was damaged in the ice storm of 21. So it isn’t what it use to be, but there is still falling water, as a fair bit of wet lands. Where there is water, there is wild life! There use to be a few bottle brush plants in full bloom which made for some very happy butterflies and bumble bees.
