Spicewood Valley Trail

I cannot recommend this one enough. There are two “waterfalls” throughout the trail which make for a few wet spots. Where there is water there is wild life! Its pretty easy to come across deer, birds and all sorts of colorful bugs.

The trail itself is about 2 miles, with is a nice early morning weekend adventure. It’s rocky in a few spots so full shoes are recommended as is bringing plenty of water

The only call out I have for this trail is that 1, it does have a tendency to get crowded, so earlier is better and 2, the parking lot has space for about 3 cars. So you will either have to park on the street at the “end” of the trail. Or risk getting towed.
